Severe storm damage has kept the Cape Lookout Trail closed for two years. Trailkeepers of Oregon volunteers will be working to help repair damage and take care of some maintenance in preparation for reopening. This is a beautiful trail with old growth spruce and an up-close look at the wonder of North Coast Storms! We’ll be using loppers, saws and tread tools to trim back brush and clear debris off the trail. This is a closed trail so we will be navigating some damaged sections of trail with loose footing, upended root balls, etc. Please be prepared for an adventure!
Participants will be asked to electronically sign the e-waiver for this event, and provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result from 24 hrs prior to the event.
