Rocky Butte Clean Up with Urban Nature Partners PDX

Rocky Butte Clean Up with Urban Nature Partners PDX

Urban Nature Partners PDX is hosting a clean up event this Earth Day at Rocky Butte, an urban rock climbing area that has become littered with glass and debris. Last year, we packed a 40yd dumpster and dozens of additional contractor bags that were removed from the site, and we're coming back for more!

Details & registration link via Solve Oregon

Rocky Butte is eccentric and gritty, located in a fairly wild state park at the center of a major metropolitan area. After a period without attentive management, these urban climbing walls have gotten a bit of a rep for its broken glass and other debris. We’re asking the local community to join us in removing some of the trash left behind, providing snacks and needed supplies to our nearby houseless neighbors, and creating a more welcoming environment for us all to enjoy.
